In this wonderful environment, characterized by its notched structure and extreme beauty, a group of people challenge themselves to make the valley more accessible to everyone who is visiting. They work on the frontline to let everybody enjoy the mountain experience and not to be overwhelmed by its grandeur. These people can be considered some sort of “mountain angels”. These are the “Mountain Heroes”, the first documentary series which shows the acts of heroism of a group of men and women who are members of the mountain rescue team.

Elikos deals with accident prevention and making the mountains safe. Aiut Alpin Dolomites is an elite corps of 65 men trained in mountain rescue.
